Ask your Woman MP to Attend the Launch of the Women's Caucus on the 9th September

This year we secured a historic feat with over 40% of women Parliamentarians elected to Westminster. Although we haven’t reached equal representation, we have reached critical mass, and it is imperative that the women elected use their increased numbers in Parliament to drive the positive changes that women across this country need in order to reach gender equality.

Can you please write to your women MP’s and ask her to attend the launch/inaugural meeting of a UK Parliament Women’s Caucus?

The Fawcett Society, in collaboration with Institute for Government, the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, and Elect Her will be bringing together  women MPs from across the political spectrum to create a self-sustaining Women’s caucus. Westminster is lagging behind its devolved nations and other countries across the world in creating one!

Please write to your MP (if they are a woman) and ask them to RSVP ‘yes’ to attend the Women’s Caucus event. The event will take place on the 9th September 2024 from 4pm – 6pm.
